Welcome!            About the Inn
Award -winning, intimate & romantic..... A Little Dream is a Camden Maine bed and breakfast inn set on two sloping acres of rolling lawns & lovely perennial borders, overlooking two small castles, with long tree-framed ocean views over Penobscot Bay. Our beautifully appointed accommodations are divided between a white "Cottage style" Victorian with a wicker and flower filled wrap-around porch.... and its beautiful matching Carriage House. Both are on the National Historic Register and were built in 1888 as part of the Norumbega Estate, the famous Victorian Castle that neighbors us. After years of putting our distinctive signature on every inch of this charming property, we now happily share this special spot with guests from around the world!
Come join us, won't you?

Location
A Little Dream, a charming bed and breakfast located in Camden Maine's flowered High St. National Register Historic District, is a little over 1/2 mile North of stunning Camden Harbor & its seaside village. An easy walk down tree lined sidewalks brings you past beautiful 18th and 19th Century homes, many now fine Camden Maine bed and breakfast inns, to the yacht and windjammer filled harbor, surrounded by fine restaurants and boutiques. Less than 1 mile north is our spectacular Camden Hills State Park with its miles of hiking trails, from rugged shore to the tops of mountains. There is also a scenic drive to the top of Mount Battie and its spectacular vista of islands in Penobscot Bay, Windjammers, and sailboats at play.

The jaw dropping views over penobscot bay and its hundreds of islands is what inspired Edna Saint Vincent Millay, who grew up in Camden Maine, to write Renascence from this panoramic vista nestled in the Camden Hills.

The beauty of Camden Maine has also been featured in numerous movies, from Peyton Place to Man Without a Face.
